Which Domino Has the Most Dots?

Look at the dominoes and tap the one with the most dots in total.

About this activity

“Which Domino Has the Most Dots?” is a counting and quantity-comparison game for children ages 4–5. Children look at four dominoes, count the dots on both halves of each one, and tap the domino with the greatest total. The dot patterns change between rounds, so children need to count rather than judge by picture size.

Skills practiced

Counting to ten, Addition readiness, Quantity comparison, Visual scanning

Tips For Parents

If your child picks the wrong domino, count the dots on each half out loud together, then add the two dot counts to see which total is bigger.
